ABOUT SUGAR LOAF

Sugar Loaf was born in 2019 on a sheep and beef farm in Mid-Wales, with a desire to bring durable, practical, modern farmwear to British farmers. Founders Marie and Will wanted more than the traditional checked shirts and moleskin trousers: they wanted the same high-quality clothing used by farmers in New Zealand and Australia - but tailored for UK conditions.

We first made our mark by introducing the iconic Canterbury of New Zealand Harlequin Shorts to the UK, where we remain the exclusive supplier. Building on that heritage, we’ve since launched our own Sugar Loaf clothing line - designed by farmers, for farmers - combining global inspiration with homegrown experience.

Today, we’re proud to be a family-run business offering premium workwear and apparel, backed by genuine farming insight and a commitment to quality, authenticity, and excellent customer service.

Not often I am moved to writing a review... but credit where credit is due - this is one such occasion.

The service I have recieved is second to none... a mistake was made and rectified with a prompt email that reminded me of bygone days, curtious to a fault, thank you - quality service.

As for the garments I have received both the Merino/Possum wool top is fantastic, but to my great surprise the new Sugar Loaf Polar Fleece is without doubt the best fleece I have purchased in years. I'm so impressed that I have immediately ordered another one. I'm certain that they will last a long time - excellent quality.

Boots !

I ordered a size too big - not knowing that Oz sizes are different from Uk . Returned them and they sent a size smaller- the boots are worn every day, been in wet woodland and gardening and to an Art Exhibition opening - comfortable and waterproof. Fab !

Great shorts - Proper short length for active wear

Really good tough material. They do come up very big, I am usually 30-31" but the 26" shorts were just right. Nice fit & comfortable to wear.
