40% Possum Fur.
10% Nylon/Lycra.

BENEFITS OF POSSUM FIBRE

Possum fibre is naturally hollow, making it light and ideal to trap and retain body heat. It will not freeze and it is the only fibre on the planet known to share this same characteristic as the Polar Bear.

Possum fibre is silky smooth and comfortable to wear. By blending with quality merino wool, the fabric created a piling retardant material, ideal for keeping socks snug and well fitted.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle
with socks inside-out.

Do not bleach.

Tumble dry on low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

They are very nice but the last possum wool socks I bought were much softer and after 3 years are now about as hard as the new ones, that aside I like the colours and wear them all the time, will buy again if I can find the link! 👍😊 would recommend the product 100%

Best ever socks

I discovered Merino/Possum mix a few years ago bought in a shop in Burford. Quite a price tag for a pair of socks but I LIVE in this stuff....jumpers, cape, cardigan, hats, gloves - you name it, I've got it. I work outside with dogs in all weathers and walk miles every day. These are THE BEST socks for keeping your feet warm and dry and do NOT fall down - my major bug bear! I had resorted to buying direct from New Zealand as I will not now wear anything else and could not find my normal make in the UK....now I know I can buy from Sugar Loaf and support a young, UK, farming business it just ticks every box.

Brilliant socks

I've always had cold feet in the winter and have tried numerous thermal socks. With almost all thermal socks I've worn my feet are either still cold or get too hot and sweaty and the sock then becomes damp and uncomfortable.

The possum merino socks keep my feet warm but not over hot. Brilliant socks, I now have 3 pairs.

In terms of washing I wash them separately in an express 20 min wash cycle with the washing machine set to cold, no detergent. The socks then hang to dry and are perfect. Well worth the money.
