Comfort Socks Possum Merino Gumboot is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of gumboot (wellington) socks. Gumboot socks are some of the best merino wool socks in the UK; they don’t come any better than this! They are designed for farm work, hunting and hiking. These Possum Merino Gumboot socks are thick, comfortable and supportive work socks.
The Merino wool offers great cushioning, comfort and moisture control, added with Nylon and extra Elastane to offer strength, durability and support. They also feature a double reinforced impact area on the heel and sole area to allow for maximum wearability and to extend the lifetime of the sock (taking longer to wear out than most Merino socks in the UK!).

Possum fibre is naturally hollow, making it light and ideal to trap and retain body heat. It will not freeze and it is the only fibre on the planet known to share this same characteristic as the Polar Bear.
Possum fibre is silky smooth and comfortable to wear. By blending with quality merino wool, the fabric created a piling retardant material, ideal for keeping socks snug and well fitted.
